Global Fund Backs Sierra Leone with $136 Million to Ramp Up Health Fight
On Friday, July 14, 2024, the Global Fund, led by Mark Eldon-Edington and his team from Geneva, has officially presented a cheque to President Julius Maada Bio with a grant totaling over $136 million to help in the country's fight against HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.

He also expressed deep gratitude for this vital support, highlighting his government's unwavering commitment to enhancing health care access as a means to boost human capital development.
