Latest Tripartite News || Chief Minister Hands Over Tripartite Recommendations to State Institutions

 Following the latest development in the tripartite issue, the Chief Minister of Sierra Leone, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, has presented the Report of the Cross Party on Electoral Systems and Management Bodies Review, and its recommendations to various heads of institutions for their study, review, and plans for implementation.

According to reports from the Government's WhatsApp Channel, The tripartite committee, which comprised of government leaders, the All People's Congress, and the United Nations Resident Coordinator, on July 1st, 2024 submitted its final report to the President. The Cabinet has supported the implementation of the report's recommendations, and has also engaged with the heads of many state institutions on plans to execute the tripartite report recommendations.



Dr. Sengeh has been authorized to oversee the implementation of the report's recommendations and emphasized the need for functional and management reforms. He urged heads of state institutions to review the report, identify necessary resources for implementation, and submit their responses within two weeks.

Additionally, the National Security Coordinator called on political parties to have confidence in state institutions, highlighting their longstanding operations. Chief Minister added that the government aims to strengthen state institutions and is committed to implementing the report's recommendations as soon as possible.
